knina pumunta kami sa national city:]] bumili kami ng food para sa weekend kasi nga birthday ni tito alpi..tapos un..bumili kmi ng meat,fish tapos mga gulay..PILLOWS! hahah!:] saka biko!.tumingin din kami dun sa goldilocks..tingin lng!:] tapos nung pauwi na kami kumain kami ng dinner sa Maharlika,filipino resto. xa..masarap din ung mga pagkain tapos mga pinoy pa ung ngseserve..we ordered adobo,pancit,dilis,menudo,chicken..tapos naweirdan aku dun sa pancit!.hahah!.kakaiba kasi ung lasa!.unexplainable!.basta magulo!:]] hehe..un lng..wait nlng kau sa next post ku!.bbye:]

a day out:]]

today, we went out, since its sunday..it's family day!!..hehe,

at 12:30 in the afternoon we went to Our Lady of Grace for a Sunday Mass..as compared to the Philippines, the mass here is a little different, like the prayer Apostle's Creed, their version is longer. and the prayer Our Father, they use "give us this day our daily bread and forgive those who trespass against us", and I also noticed that everytime they respond to say Amen in some parts of the mass ,we had to raise our hands!!..hmm..what else?. oh yeah!. when the priest told us to give each other a peace sign ..just as when i was about to bow to this man like how i learned to practice it...he suddenly reached over and shook my hand, i got startled!.didn't expect that their sign of peace was by shaking each others hand!.:]] i just gave him a BiG grin!.hahaha!:D then the mass ended..the priest was outside saying hi!. to the people..blah..blah..then mommy said "bless kayo!" ok..bless naman kami:]] but one thing i noticed that only filipinos were the only ones who went to the priest and blessed..i just smiled!.haha!:]].then we went home and ate lunch..that was about 2pm.. then after having lunch we went to Ikea and shopped for things that lola needs for her kitchen like pans,wine holder,lola's "pamalengke" bag:],spatulas,mats,tray,coasters,pepper grinder,cheese grater,can opener, knife sharpener and even bed sheets!.and many more!. the bill was about $$$ haha!!:]] we also had a chance to eat there, i ordered fish and chips (chips btw means french fries) lolo ordered sweedish meatballs with mashed potatoes,gravy and lingon berry sauce, it was new for me but it tasted yummy!alex ordered mac and cheese,lola ordered apple pie,mom ordered meatballs and fries and ninang ordered chicken pilaf..after that we went to food for less to buy some food..and finally!!. went home.mommy made some 'bleeding' steak and baked potatoes for dinner!.haha.wooo!.what an exhausting day!.but! it was fun!:] 'till my next post!.bbye at Ikea:]

L.A. trip

ok so..we went to L.A. last june 14 to 15!.i had soo much fun!:]]

GRIFFITH OBSERVATORY

on the first day we went to HOLLYWOOD!! woohoo!!.but too bad i didn't see any celebrities at all:[ aww..moving to another topic...we ate lunch at California kitchen pizza!.yummy!.then walked by the hollywood walk of fame. the place was soo crowded!. as if there's a celeb coming!.haha!!:]] took some pics,then went to Griffith Park!,.the park is NiCE..i saw a LOT of dogs and puppies!.then there was griffith observatory ,a beloved icon of Los Angeles and national leader in public astronomy. this is the place where charlie's angels shoot one of their scenes..[oohhhh!.]..and then ate dinner at City walk at universal studios. that was about 8 in the evening and still there are lots of people and lots of filipinos too!.hehe!.because the place was so crowded,we had a hard time in finding our seats..aww.. but other than that,it was fun!.then went to our hotel at holiday inn..[sleepy heads].

THE SIMPSONS RIDE
second day is what i've been waiting for!.hahah!!.were going to universal studios!!.woohoo!!..we arrived there at about 10 in the morning!,.first,we took the studio tour. it was about an hour. we saw the places where celebs shoot their movies and tv shows..the tour guide also showed us the part where one of the studios got caught on fire which was the new york studio where King Kong was the main attraction..it was soo sad..The whole area was a disaster.:[ movin on...the next place was the simpsons ride!.it's a new one,the back to the future ride was replaced by this ride. then watched the waterworld,fear factor live and universal animal actors. but the jurassic park and revenge of the mummy ride was a mind-blowing,heart-pounding experience!.waa!!.even if it's the second time i rode those rides!.woo!! feels like it's the first time!.then..aww it's time to say goodbye L.A. and hello San Diego AGAIN!!.aww.,i still wanna go to disney land!.but there's no more time..gonna go back some other time..bbye..

woo!!im back!.after 6 exhausting days in new york, im home!.wahaha!!.. at last! im soo happy!.well let me tell you the story of our trip in ny.



first day..

We arrived at the jfk [john f. kennedy] airport at about 7:30 in the morning. then we took a mini van [taxi] to crowne plaza at times square along broadway, it was about a 30 minute drive from the airport to manhattan. then, after we went to the hotel to leave our luggages we went strolling along the sidewalks of NY. each street has a pedestrian lane and a stoplight. and then we went to a diner named ellen's stardust diner. after an hour we went back to the hotel to check-in. the hotel has 46 floors and were on the 36th floor,. because we were so exhausted, we slept for about 9hrs. and woke up at 10pm:o. at that time were already hungry!.haha! and went to a nearby restaurant called applebee's. after that we walked.walked and walked. and took some pictures. and went back to the hotel and slept again..that was about 1am...

2nd day..

The 2nd day is fun!:) we took a bus tour to downtown manhattan, we saw many places like the ground zero,flat iron bldg,macy's,emire state,the post office,st.paul's church. then took a bus for the brooklyn tour,we saw the pier,central park,brooklyn bridge,china town and even the place where sex and the city shoot their movie. that day was very hot!!!..i got soo dark!:[ grrr!!..it was about 97 degrees!.huhuhu!!..but it was fun seeing all the places.

3rd day..

This day was the most awaited!.ahaha!!!:)) we went to the statue of liberty and rode a ferry to the island of liberty,the boat can carry 500 people. It was a 15 minute ride from the battery park to the liberty island. we took lots of pictures!..lots and lots!:) it was hot.hot.hot!!.very hot!. and the end of day 3.

4th day..

This day we went to the observation deck at top of the rock to have an overview of the city of manhattan. it includes the empire state,liberty,manhattan bridge and many more.then we went to m&m's world!.where m&m's live!.haha!.everything was there!.souvenirs,shirts,toys,bags and ofcourse..M&M'S!!!..weeee!!.

5th day..

This day we were sooooooo,verryyy exhausted!!..but still we [me,alex and ninang] went to some stores like F A O schwarz [it's a toy store],apple store and american girl. at that ave. we also saw some stores like:louise vuitton,abercrombie and fitch,gucci,...........................

6th day..

were gonna leave!:[ awwww..how saad.,but im glad that were gonna go home!.at last some time to rest!.yes!.our flight was 6:40 in the eve. then,when were already on the plane we waited for about 15mins. to take off. but then...........the pilot said that there were 48 planes ahead of us so everyone was like: OMG!!..including me!.hehe..........again..we waited for 4hrs.!!! as in!.haha!.beacause the pilot said that there's a storm so we have to wait for the storm to pass by..but it didn't.so the flight was cancelled and i was ABOUT to cry!!:'[[ haha!!..we rebooked our flight at the next day but the problem is we don't know where we'll stay!. ninang was calling all hotels,inns.....but they were all full,:0 luckily there's one inn left that has rooms nut 5-10miles far from the airport,but we don't have a choice so we end up at that inn!.haha!!..then...blah..blah..blah..were already home!!!..wahahaha!!..the end!

New York,here i come!

weee!.were gonna go to new york!.haha!.,im soooperr excited about it!.super prepare naku!haha!,ppnta kami dun this thursday and will be back on tuesday. awww 5days lang! tsk!. then were gonna go back to san diego:(. but then..we'll be going to LA on the following week!.haha!:)) well that's not so bad.im already packing my things!.[so early:o] im too xcited, hmmm..[what else?] oh yea we went to a store named 'forever 21' lots of clothes,bags and accessories.but! i didn't buy anything:( hehe,well that's it! till nxt tym:] ..

ung unang topic ung about sa pag vaccine thingy..haha!.

so pumunta kami sa health center nung may29 para mgpa-vaccine. para un sa school requirements. mga 2pm kami pinick up ni ninang sa apt. para pumunta dun..pagdating namin madami tao..karamihan mga bata. tapos un ngintay kami ng mga 10mins. to be called. tapos inexplain nung doctor kung anu-anung mga vaccines ung kailangan ibigay samin ni alex. and then pinapunta kami sa room A para dun bgyan ng vaccine..ako muna ung binigyan. 2 on each side!!..so 4 lhat! ang sakit!!!..pero di ako umiyak!.waahaha!!.basta un!tapos si alex 3 lhat..then may nakilala pa kaming pilipino dun!.haha!.basta..tpos kwento-kwento..un uwi na kami!.

punta kami sa national city!!..wee!.tuwang-tuwa aku kc sabi nina mommy puro pilipino daw dun..pinuntahan namin dun ung seafood city. isa ung supermarket na puro filipino food ung tinda!.pati ung mga cashier dun pilipino!.kaya seafood city ang pangalan kc marami clang seafood na tinda..un!.natuwa aku kc pra nrin akung nxa pilipnas!.haha!.tapos dun pa sa harap ng supermarket may monument ni jose rizal!!.haha!.tapos un..todo shopping kami kc bka matagalan pa uli bgo kami makabalik dun!.un..then pg labas nmin dun lng sa tabi nung supermarket may isang bakery na ang tinda ay puro filipino delicacies..mga puto,bko,kuchinta,,basta marami!.bumili ako ng biko kc mtgal ku na un ndi nttkman.marami din dung stores..jollibee,red ribbon,goldilocks,chowking meron nga ding RCBC..tapo un..umuwi na kami!:))
